Poor Unfortunate Souls 

The story follows a douen spirit from Trinidad that ended up in England alongside the rest of the Windrush generation. As the myth dictates, the douen tries to take the place of Emily but when her family begins to notice the change, they suspect a changeling is to blame rather than a douen. The story is an exploration of mythology as well as a look into the exchange of cultures. Below is the beginning of an animatic of the story.
